Help us make people better at their jobs.
A small team with a high bar, building the first operating system to predictably build and prove human capability — across entire workforces, a few focused minutes a day.
If you want to do the best work of your career on a high-performing team, you're in the right place.
A note from us
To anyone thinking about joining us,
We started Beeline to answer a question companies spend billions failing to answer: can this person actually do the job? We think that's one of the biggest untapped levers in the working world — most people are capable of far more than their job ever gets out of them, and almost no software is built to change that. We're building the operating system that does, on a simple bet: five focused minutes a day, judged against real work, beats a stack of courses nobody finishes.
We're doing it with a small team and a high bar. That's deliberate. Fewer people, faster decisions, real ownership. You'll ship things in your first weeks that would need three sign-offs somewhere else. What you won't find here is a place to hide, a roadmap handed to you, or work that's judged by how busy it looked.
And it's already real. Teams at Bootlegger, Bidvest Steiner and Eskort run on Beeline, across more than 400 locations. Small team, real customers, a genuinely big problem.
The right person raises our bar. The wrong one — however talented — drags everyone down, so we'd rather wait. If you hold the same standard and want to build something that matters alongside people who do too, we should talk.
Sounds like your kind of thing? Let's go.
Where We Are
Based in Cape Town. Building with people around the world.
We're a blended team with our head office in Cape Town and team members working remotely around the world. Most roles are blended too — time together where it counts, freedom to do deep work where it doesn't. And we get out of the building together: hackathons, a mountain summit, the August cycle tour.

How We Build
A small team with a high bar.
You won't wait months for permission. You'll work on things that matter, make decisions that reach customers quickly, and be expected to raise the standard around you. We're not building a lifestyle company — we're building an important one, with a small number of exceptional people.
01
Ship, don't stall
We ship fast and judge our work by whether it actually works for customers — not by how busy it looked. Progress beats activity.
02
Own the outcome
We take ownership when things are ambiguous, make the call, and close the loop. We build things without being asked.
03
Think clearly, write clearly
Clear writing is clear thinking. We make our reasoning visible, argue the idea not the person, and keep a high bar for quality.
04
Use AI seriously
We use AI as a real tool to think faster and build better — not performatively. And we care about customers more than internal politics.
What You'll Get
Why it's worth joining early.
Join now and there's nowhere to hide — that's the deal, and it's the best part. Your work is visible, the problems are real, and what you build reaches customers fast.
Real ownership, early
Own meaningful problems from day one, on a team small enough that your work is genuinely visible.
Ownership in the company
Meaningful equity for key roles — real ownership in what we're building together.
Real customers, hard problems
Work on genuinely hard problems with real customers on the other side — not hypotheticals.
Judgment & taste matter
A place where writing, judgment, speed, and taste are what get rewarded.
Blended, flexible work
Cape Town head office with remote teammates worldwide. Time together where it counts.
Build the category
A shot at building the performance layer for the modern workforce — from the ground up.

What We Look For
Our hiring signals.
We don't put much weight on CVs — we built Beeline because credentials don't tell you who can actually do the job. So we hire on signal, not on paper. Here's what moves us, and what doesn't.
Raises our bar
this is what we're hiring for
- proof of work
- builds without being asked
- ships fast
- learns fast
- writes clearly
- creates > consumes
- uses AI seriously
- high standards
- customers over politics
- team-first
Nice, not the point
helpful, but never the deciding factor
- great CV
- big-name company
- top university
- senior title
Doesn't move us
be honest — this probably isn't the place
- “passionate about startups”
- “strategic thinker”
- needs a roadmap first
- decks over shipped product
- activity mistaken for progress
- wants to be managed, not trusted
In Their Words
What our team says about building here.
The Beeline team and environment are second to none. It's very rare to be surrounded by so many good people who all genuinely want you to succeed — pushing you and supporting you in every aspect of the work environment. If you're lucky enough to get the opportunity to join the team, don't think twice!

We hire ahead of need.
We don't wait for a role to open to meet exceptional people. If you'd raise our bar, don't send a CV — show us something you've built, shipped, or fixed, and tell us where you'd make Beeline better.

Questions, answered.
What is Beeline?
Beeline is a platform that helps distributed, frontline teams grow, perform, and prove they can actually do the job — a few focused minutes a day. Think Duolingo, but for the work you're paid to do, connected to the company you do it for. Teams at Bootlegger, Bidvest Steiner and Eskort already run on it.
Where is the team based?
Our head office is in Cape Town, with team members working remotely around the world. Most roles are blended — real time together where it counts, and the freedom to do deep work where it doesn't.
What's it like to work here?
A small team with a high bar. High standards, low ceremony, writing over meetings. You'll own real work early, ship fast, and be trusted more than you're managed. If you need structure and constant direction to do your best work, it probably isn't the fit — and that's okay.
How do you think about pay and ownership?
We pay competitively, and key roles come with meaningful equity — real ownership in Beeline. The better we do, the better everyone on the team does.
Do I need a specific degree or a perfect CV?
No. We built Beeline because credentials don't tell you who can do the job. We hire on signal, not on paper — so we'd rather see proof of work than a polished CV. A big-name company or top university is a nice-to-have, never the deciding factor.
How do I stand out when I apply?
Show us something you've built, shipped, or fixed — and tell us specifically where you'd make Beeline better. A sharp, specific note about our product will always beat a generic (or AI-written) cover letter.
Want in on a high-performing team doing something that matters?
The right person raises our bar. If that's you, let's build it together.
